Lisa Haywood is a fashion and portrait photographer originally from Thompson, MB and now centrally located in B.C.’s Okanagan Valley. She utilizes the art form of photography as an avenue with which to express her perception of the world around her, enabling her to innately capture her authenticity in her portraits.
Her fashion editorial has appeared in numerous international fashion magazines as well as publication in local Kelowna magazines; Mint Magazine and cover photos on Okanagan Woman Magazine.
To further share her craft with others, she is a photography instructor in the Digital Photography program at the Centre for Arts and Technology in Kelowna. Nurturing creative-thinking and artistic expression in others allows her to dig even deeper into her own passion, to uncover even more truths in human behaviour as she sees it through the lens of each of her students.
This passionate red head has an amazing eye for detail. Lisa Haywood believes that photography is an artistic medium to express how she sees the world and to capture people’s essence. People are utterly captivated by her talent and use of light. When she is not taking the perfect shot, she is always dreaming of traveling!
